The Viking Backers Booster Club is pleased to offer five $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors. Each scholarship is intended to support a student in their future endeavors, which may or may not be higher education. The scholarships will be awarded to deserving seniors who have personified the Viking Backers Booster Club's goal of making a difference at the high school and within the Mt. Hebron community.

Viking Backer Membership: To be eligible, one member of the student's family must be a current Viking Backers member for 2024-2025 as of 11:59pm March 31, 2025. A membership may be purchased by going here. If there are circumstances which preclude a family from joining please do not hesitate to reach out to our President, Brian Slater, at president@vikingbackers.org to discuss an alternative arrangement.
Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted through 11:59pm, March 31, 2025. Please refer to the application for specific submissions instructions.
Any applications received after the deadline, or from students who do not have a family Backers membership (and have not contacted us as described above) will not be considered.
Selection Criteria: To be eligible, a student must have a cumulative 2.50 or higher GPA at the end of the the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. Other qualities evaluated include leadership, contribution to school and community. Additionally, the ability to follow the instructions on the application will be considered.
